Technology

Pulstar Technology: Brook Chiropractic Neurology has the only Pulstar in Tucson.  This state of the art, computerized instrument provides “multiple impulse technology” Chiropractic Spinal Adjustment. It also allows the doctor to analyze spinal fixation/subluxation prior to each treatment for a more precise adjustment, and then to re-assess the spine after each treatment, so the doctor is able to see immediately the patient’s response. (For more information on Pulstar go to Pulstarcare.com.)

Disc Decompression Traction: Utilizing cutting the edge technology of the Dynatonics DX2, Decompression Traction is a proven treatment for the relief of lower back and neck pain from disc bulges and herniations; it has also shown to be beneficial in posterior facet syndrome, stenosis, sciatica, etc. Decompression therapy is non-surgical, non-invasive, and does not involve pain medications. The treatment is not only safe, but also generally comfortable and relaxing. A course of therapy includes approximately 15-20 treatment sessions completed in about 6 weeks. Treatment sessions are brief, lasting approximately 20 minutes.

Light Therapy: Light Therapy can be used to treat a variety of pain conditions, from back and neck pain to migraines and a wide variety of joint and soft tissue pain, such as the pain associated with arthritis, fibromyalgia, bursitis, etc. “…the absorbed (light) energy may be used to power metabolic processes, synthesize DNA,RNA, proteins, enzymes, and other biological materials needed to repair or regenerate cell and tissue components…” (Light Therapy Applications 2nd edition 2005 Enwemeka & Pontinen) This is revolutionary technology for the treatment of soft-tissue injuries, pain and inflammation.
