Chiropractic may help reduce pain

Dr. Brook uses manual therapies to treat pain, especially pain in the low back. Many studies have shown that chiropractic manipulation can be very helpful in reducing pain and increasing mobility. Most patients report beneficial results that improve with continued treatment as may be needed.

If you've been suffering from chronic pain, chiropractic treatment might offer you new hope for relief.

How does it work?

The core chiropractic treatment for typical low back pain involves manual manipulation or “chiropractic adjustment.” In some cases mobilization exercises for moving and stretching muscles and joints are used in order to increase range of motion.

By making sure the spine is correctly aligned and the muscles of the back and neck are able to move properly, we usually help reduce spinal pain.

The Doctor may advise using heat therapy using a heating pad or ice packs to help reduce inflammation of the muscles. Be sure to follow his specific instructions of which to use and how long to apply. He may have you alternate or use interrupted applications. He will know which is best for your condition.
