Initial assessment
When you first visit us for an assessment, you'll be examined by Dr. Robert Brook. He is a Chiropractic Neurologist, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology.
He is also a licensed Acupuncturist, and is extensively trained in Clinical Nutrition.
Dr. Brook and his staff will check your weight, height, blood pressure, and body mass index (BMI). Along with the early measurements we'll perform a comprehensive assessment of your overall health and nutrition.
These initial measurements provide a crucial baseline for monitoring and tracking your progress. The doctor may recommend individualized eating guidelines or a personalized clinical nutrition to meet your goals.
We'll make sure you have plenty of support to achieve real improvements in your health and lifestyle through better nutrition.
Here's what you should bring
There are several things that are helpful to us when you begin nutritional therapy –
- Results from any recent blood tests or medical exams
- Medications and/or dietary and health supplements that you take
- Your food calendar or journal, if you keep one
